Nyayo National Stadium
Completed in 1983, Nyayo National Stadium was a vision that was to lead to greater and bigger things for the sports men and women of this country.
The completion of Nyayo National Stadium gave Kenya the opportunity to be placed in the category of Nations that were invited to bid for the 4th All African games in 1987, a bid that was awarded to Kenya, giving it International status. In essence Nyayo Stadium gave “birth” to Moi International Sports Centre.
